This project is different than the others because this is the first amigurumi project that is original and not made or modified from another designer’s pattern. I learned techniques from all the patterns that came before, so I can’t say that it just magically sprang forth from my brain, but I did make it from scratch and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Since Dobby has very skinny arms and legs, there is no way he would have been able to stand on his own without help, so he has wire going through his limbs, through the body, and into the head. This makes him both repositionable and able to stand up on his own without a stand. His pillowcase toga does not come off, but the sock is removable so he can hold it in his hand instead of wearing it. He stands just over 8″ tall.
